The Wallpaper Installation Process
From first measurement to final walkthrough, here is what working with Joe James looks like, whether it’s a single accent wall or a full commercial space.
Step 1
In-Home Consultation & Measurement
Every project starts with a visit to your space. Joe walks the room, checks wall condition and ceiling height, and takes exact measurements so the right amount of paper is ordered the first time.
Step 2
Dust-Free Wall Preparation
Before any paper goes up, walls are inspected, patched, and sanded using a dust-free technique that keeps floors, furniture, and air quality clean throughout the job.
Step 3
Precision Cutting & Pattern Matching
Each roll is measured and cut to match the room and the pattern. Repeats are aligned in advance so seams disappear and the design flows edge to edge.
Step 4
Professional Installation & Hanging
Paper is hung with care, working seam by seam and pattern by pattern, whether the wall is eight feet or twenty-four feet tall.
Step 5
Final Walkthrough & The Finished Result
Once the last sheet is hung, Joe walks the room with you, checks every seam, and cleans the space so all that’s left to do is enjoy the new look.
